Things I've learned from Lerah:

That to pull off good eye makeup is all about the attitude.
That you can tell a lot about a person by what kind of earrings they wear.
That computers are not really the enemy...sometimes.
That if your clothes aren't fun, don't wear them.
That cameras are the greatest invention known to man.
That 100 pictures...okay, like 130 pictures in one night is not too many.
That it is also not a waste of time.
That even I can eat Arby's if I really try.
That starcrunches are a great forgotten pastime.
That you're never too old for a sack lunch.
That some people really do return things when they borrow them.
That second grade smiles are not just for second graders.
That taking French is not a good idea.
That sleep is not really necessary during the week.
But that weekends are made for sleep.
That creative people come from Creative Preschool.
That backbones can be made out of popsicle sticks.
That being from Wakulla does not make you Wakullian.
That it's okay to boo people...sometimes...
That when things annoy you you can completely deny its existence and ignore it completely.
That your hair does not control you. You control your hair and make it bow to your will.
That you can never quote Zoolander too many times.
That Kaaawaaaaanza is a fun holiday...as long as you have story time with Lerah.
That you can never be too awesome.
That you can never tell yourself that you are too awesome too many times.
That God is always working in people and making them more and more awesome every day.

I love Lerah!!!

OH my gosh. So I just looked at all of our pictures that we took...they're going on the blog. There's tons of them. It's amazing. I'm so going to print some of these out tomorrow. These were taken at the Festival of Lights Parade. Me, Lerah, Diane, Shannon, Lori, Mrs. Rachel and Katie Greenwell were there. So fun.

The infamous Nims Middle School banner. Notice how they spell the word "whatever." I don't even want to go into that...

We found Katie!

We decided to line dance while this girl was singing. Yeah, it was amazing.

This snowman was a little scary.

She is so gorgeous.

We're gonna rob the Arby's.

Bleen, they have a surveillance camera...

They're Still Asleep...

...so I'm gonna post pictures.

We went to Barnacle Bill's (on North Monroe...) Do any of you remember that commercial? "You know where! Barnacle Bills on North Monroe!" That's what they said. Anyway, we went there and I got scallops (of course) and it was fun. Lori's parents and 2 of their friends and me and Lori and Carli went.

These are Carli's "I'm so excited!" eyes.

These are Carli's normal eyes.

"I'm so excited..."

These are Carli's "I'm gonna kill somebody" eyes.

We got there about a half an hour early and I was like, "Let's be like Tanya and Zhenya and go take pictures outside next to random things. That stairway looks good." So we did. And it was fun.

Lori snapped a picture while we were staring at something...I don't remember what.

I don't know if they wanted us to eat outside or what. It was freakin' 30 degrees outside. We were going in.

Eta ya.

Don't you love Lori's hair?

So, that's about it. Arrivederci!

I'm not dead...

...I'm just busy with Jenshka, Carli and Lori who are probably the coolest people ever. (Except for Lerah. Because I know I'll be getting comments if I don't mention the fact that I also think she is pretty much the coolest person ever. Because I do.) I dyed Jenna's hair last night. I think it's awesome.

Quotes o'the yesterday: "Oh, good. It will be cold." -Carli Bogeajis

Celtic Christmas at Shenanigan's

After a long day of going stopping by Todd's house to pick up a key to the church, then going to find Lori's laptop plug, then going back to Todd's house to deliver the key, then going to the Holiday Inn church to meet Jim to figure out how to work the projector for tomorrow, then waiting for Jim for 45 minutes, then running into my Dad, then planning our presentation, then going to the mall, then running into Lerah, Chris, Brandon and Jenshka, then finding Christmas presents, then losing my purse, then finding my purse, me and Lori and Mom and Mrs. Cheryl went to Shenanigan's for the 4th "Celtic Christmas" with the McInnroy's. It was awesome. We had so much fun. I even gave a toast. Not like the bread kind...okay, well, y'all are smart people. Here's some pictures:

An Interview...

So we're over here at the Waller's house (we being me, Loritchka and Alec, who wants to be called "Sasha" in this interview. So we will oblige.) and we're waiting for David to get here. More on that later.
Calyn: Okay, so Sasha, as you sit there drinking Lori's Dr. Pepper, what do you think you're getting for Christmas?
Sasha: The Chariots of Fire soundtrack and "NUTZ4U" license tag.
Calyn: Wow. What else?
Mrs. Eileen: We're gonna make Christmas presents! Record bowls for our friends.
Sasha: I like craft night!
(Mrs. Eileen makes really awesome party bowls out of old records. They're pretty much amazing. She even sells them on e-bay.)
Sasha: Maybe when we're done you can play some more indelible grace songs on the piano for us.
C: They're pretty. So why are we waiting for David?
Sasha: David's personal hygiene leaves much to be desired, namely friendship.
C: Why is that?
Sasha: He drove all the way home instead of coming to my house
C: from the mall...
Sasha: to get his shampoo!
C: You've got to be kidding me. Tell us more.
Lori: We spent about 15 minutes trying to convince David that he would be okay for one night without his shampoo.
Sasha: I was gonna let him borrow my herbal essence.
Mrs. Eileen: Alec's wasn't Suave.
Sasha: That's not even funny.
Mrs. Eileen: Yes it was.
Sasha: My mom's a great cuddler.
Mrs. Eileen: Alec's kinda suave.
Sasha: Mom, guess what I saw at the mall. You should keep typing.
C: I am.
S: We were in this store called "Rave". That's right, right?
C: Yeah.
Sasha: The racks in the store were so off-center.
C: No, that was in Claire's.
Sasha: Oh yeah.
*Alec continues talking to his mom. This is not a G-rated conversation. And this is a G-rated blog.
S: This implies that me and my mom have some pretty bad conversations. It's baseless rumors. Oh no. David is calling. Oh, no, it's Scott.
Hello?
Hey dude.
*Doorbell rings
Sasha: David Kuder is here.
*It's actually Josh Waller
C: Hey Josh.
Mrs. Eileen: Did you kiss any girls?
Josh: No.
Mrs. Eileen: We're gonna make records. Do you want to make them with us?
Josh: What?
Mrs. Eileen: We're gonna make records.
Josh: Oh, I thought you said we were gonna make breakfast.
Mrs. Eileen: No.
C: Hey, what'd you see at the movies?
Josh: Ah, the Chronicles of Narnia.
C: Did you like it?
Josh: Yeah, it was okay. The best part was the fighting scene. When the lion bites the girl's head off.
Mrs. Eileen: What? That's supposed to be Jesus!
Josh: yeah.
*doorbell rings. David comes in.
Mrs. Eileen: I got this coffee maker for $11 dollars at Goodwill!
Lori: It's really cool! Look at it.
*Star wars theme music playing.
C: I did. It's amazing.
Mrs. Eileen: I looked it up on the internet and it was $149.00! It's called a Cruisenair grind and air.
Josh: $20? What a rip-off. Oh, $19.99? I'll take two.
Alec: Aslan eats her whole body!
C: In the book?
Alec: Didn't you read the book?
C: Yes, but I don't remember.
Alec: SASHA!
C
: Okay, Sasha.
Sasha: He eats the whole freakin' witch!
Mrs. Eileen: Does anybody like breakfast bread?
C: I do.
Josh: Look what I'm making. (Holds up some popcorn.)
Mrs. Eileen: picks up the creamer. You know, I've made yogurt before. I accidentally left my creamer and milk on the counter for a day and it makes yogurt.
Josh: Mom, that's not something you tell people. I left some milk and creamer around for a month and it made YOGURT! You don't tell people that. Okay, I'm gonna go listen to some sweet tunes.
Sasha: David, you can come hang out with us!
Mrs. Eileen: If you bring the piano!
*Alec's phone rings.
Sasha: Oh no! My leg is shaking.
*Takes phone out of his pocket.
Sasha: This is Alexander Ernest Waller the fourth speaking. How can I help you?
*leaves room.
Josh: Nathan encountered a hit and run recently. (Nathan is Jand Alec's brother.) Nathan hit Hope (their sister) and ran off.
Mrs. Eileen: It was definitely a hit and run.
C: David, would you like to be in the interview?
David: Yes. Today David made history for the second time today, well, it wasn't the second time David made history but it was the second time history was made. He earned a degree from Tallahassee Community College like Calyn.
Josh: Would anybody like me to make them gallons of hot chocolate?
(Josh put way too much powder in his chocolate milk.)
Josh: I know! We can get a funnel...
Lori: Hey, I have one of those degrees from Tallahassee Community College.
David; Lori made history too!
Lori: And now I have facebook from them. And it's not even mine.
C: It's mine. (I gave Lori my TCC email address so she could have facebook.)
Alec: Hey, our mutual friend Scott Beasley will be here in a minute or few.
C: Hey, no one will read this if it's too long. Should we end it.
All: Yeah.
Alec, I mean Sasha: Can I do the end?
C: Yeah.
Gives keyboard to Alec. Note, Calyn Reber is not responsible for the content below this line---------------------------------
dsadf
asdfdfgasfNarrator: The End!
C: No, you have to write something.
N: She is not the boss of me!
Lori: ***laughs***When did you become "N" instead of Sasha?
N: Exactly at the moment I became the Narrator!
Josh shakes milkjug with chocolate inside...Alright Ladies, its done!
D: Where is all the kids?
C: (repeats david) Where is all the kids?
Lori: ***laughs, again
J: Hey guys (switches gender) its almost like a slushie.
David: it looks like mud, in honor of Grace.

(Lori is the narrator now)

Josh: (comments on music. It's Lord of the Rings.) This sounds like Chronicles of Narnia. There's always music in the war scenes. It's stupid because in real life there is no music.

Okay, this is the end now. Arrivederci!

Todd's Curse is Spreading...

Okay, so because I only got 1 hour and 45 minutes of sleep the night before last, this morning when I had to get up to go to my evil dentist appointment I felt like someone had waken me up from a coma. Curses to that alarm clock. Evil Fur Elise. Blast Miss Elise that she so inspired Mr. Ludwig to write that darn song. So, when I got home, rather than studying like I should have, I decided to take a nap. A rather long one. Anyway, with my teeth still feeling minty and tingly my cat and I snuggled up for a long winter's nap. When what to my wondering mind should appear but a pestering dream to disturb my much deserved sleep...here...(it had to rhyme.)
So, I have this tooth that I cracked like, 6 years ago when me and Cameron were having a pillow fight one day. (I know you must be wondering, "How the heck do you break a tooth in a pillow fight?" Well, Cameron had filled his pillow with lead...no, just kidding. I ducked to defend myself from one of Cameron's attacks and the arm of the couch jumped up and knocked me right in the mouth.) Anyway, so in my dream I had just gotten home from my dentist appointment (who would have thought?) and my cracked tooth felt like it was loose. So I got up from eating lunch and went in the bathroom to check in the mirror and sure enough, it fell right out. Not good. Well, then more started falling out. And then ALL of my teeth fell out! Right out of my mouth. My first thought was, "Well, this doesn't look promising." So I go out in the kitchen and I tell mom (now I've got a handicapped tongue and no teeth, so the whole speech idea wasn't working too well for me) "Mom! Aww my teef haf fallen oup!" And she's like, "Okay, well, let's take you to the dentist." I'm on the verge of tears now and I say, "Man, why can't this just be one of Todd's stupid dreams." (I'm serious. I was wishing in my dream that it was only just a dream. That's never happened to me before.) But mom was like, "Calyn. This isn't a dream. Get in the car." (She LIED to me!) And so we go to the dentist's office and it's 4:30 and the office doesn't close until 5:30, but the secretary says, "I'm sorry. There are no more appointments available today." And I'm crying and I'm like, "But de lady just cleant my teef and she said day were fine!" She said, "I'm sorry. You'll just have to schedule an appointment." And then I woke up. With all my teeth still intact. That was a relief. But I think I may start flossing...

Arrivederci!

Calvin's Snowmen

Diane sent these to me and I spent like, 5 minutes just laughing in front of the computer so I thought I would share them with you all. Arrivederci!

Yay!

Second quote o'the day: "ARRRAAAARRRAARRRRRRARRAAAAARRR!" Todd Sapp, upon noticing that Kenley was about to take a sip of his drink rather than his own.

Okay, it is official. It is exactly 3:00 a.m. and I just finished my take home final. O happy day!

I just got off the phone with Carli too, and that made me happy.

I'm getting ready for bed now. I have to be at school in 5 hours. Goodnight, peoples. Arrivederci!

Brandon's Party Rocked the House

Quote o' the day: "You can buy cows?" - Cameron Reber

Okay, so Brandon's party was pretty much the best ever. We played the best game of ultimate frisbee that we've played in quite a while. And the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Me and Kevin missed the third member of our trio, though, Walker Brown. But he was with us in spirit. Josh Waller is probably the best defense player I've ever seen. He just comes from out of nowhere. Actually, everybody on our team played really good. And the "Victory Screech" was amazing. Did you know that "screech" is the longest one syllable word in the English language? Wait, that's what they say, but I just thought of another one. Scrounge. That's longer. That's how it's spelled, right? Okay, ditch that. That's what I always learned in school. Of course that was in public school...Jenna already posted these pictures already, but I wanted to post a couple of them too.

The victory screech!
