Calyn, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your updates to your blog. Since moving I find myself really keeping up with you guys through your blogs. Some people update more than others but that's okay. I like knowing what's going on with all of you and things that may be bothering you and knowing how I can pray for you. I miss all of you so keep up the good blogging! Love ya, Mrs Rachel
I love running, good grammar, and those little chocolate mints you can buy for five cents at Sonny's. International students are the best. Laying on the porch at night and looking at stars is my favorite thing to do. I believe that shopping at Publix truly is a pleasure. I have an unhealthy fear of aliens which started when I was little, watching the Nip-nips on Sesame Street. "E.T." is the scariest movie I've ever seen. My heroes are Jim Elliot and Lori Jackson. Christmas is the greatest holiday and it doesn't bother me in the least when people put their trees up before Thanksgiving.
I try to get to know Jesus better every day. My favorite verses are Hebrews 12:1-3:...let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before Him, endured the cross..." I hope every day I get a little bit farther in the race because when I reach the finish line, I want to know that more than anything else, every breath I took brought Christ glory. I'd love to tell you about how Jesus has changed my life. Ask me sometime. I promise; I'm not scary. :0)
